Formula Ford Association news

Due to the very large program at the Liquid Moly Bathurst event, we have been directed by the promotor that ALL competitors must be accommodated in a category marquee. The cost is expected to be around $400 per car.

The Formula Ford Association, together with the Historic Formula Ford Australia, will offer all Formula Ford 1600 competitors the opportunity to race at Bathurst in 2019.

At the completion of racing at round four of the 2018 Australian Formula Ford Championship at Sandown, three Duratec engines were removed trackside from cars #2, #29 and #97.

Round 5 of the 2018 Australian Formula Ford Championship will be conducted at The Bend Motorsport Park (S.A.) on August 24th-26th.

We are sorry to inform our competitors of the death of Jeff Thompson, a true racing enthusiast and one of the first Australian Formula Ford drivers. He competed in 1969, when the category first launched in Australia.
