FORMULA FORD AT THE BEND MOTORSPORT PARK

Next June, our South Australian State Series will create history, hosting the first ever Formula Ford race meeting at The Bend Motorsport Park. Round 2 of the SA Formula Ford Series will be held at the newly built race track in Tailem Bend on June 2nd-3rd, with a practice day available on Friday 1st June. The State Series event will be utilising the 4.95km-long International circuit. This layout was used during the Sunday races of the Shannons Nationals in April and will be used again by Supercars during their round at Tailem Bend in August. Entries for this event are now open on the CAMS Event Entry System and will close on Tuesday, 29th May. Friday Practice is organised by The Bend Motorsport Park and can't be entered via the CAMS Event Entry System website. For any information about the Private Practice day, competitors are invited to call The Bend Motorsport Park at 8200-5247 between 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Pit Lane garages will be available for the weekend and can be booked on the CAMS Event Entry system when entering for the event. With 16 cars already entered, this is a great opportunity to be part of a special moment in Australian Formula Ford history. The SA competitors are warmly inviting drivers from all over the country for a fun and competitive weekend of racing at this new, world class facility.
