2020 QLD Formula Ford Championship - calendar announced
We are pleased to announce the 2020 race calendar featuring 7 events, with 5 counting for the FFA Qld Club Championship. This provides more opportunities to race locally, without making for a long Qld Championship. Avoiding date clashes with the National FF1600 Championship has been imperative, allowing participation in both Championships.
Race meetings at Lakeside have resumed, so two visits are included, joining the grid with Qld Sportscars Championship. Several interstate competitors have expressed interest in racing at Lakeside, so we envisage the July event will prove popular as it does not clash with NSW or VIC events.
All events are traditional 3-day format, with optional practice on Friday. Entries are welcome from all classes of Formula Ford, with both the CAMS State Championship and FFA Qld Club Championship pointscores being held for Kent-powered cars only (Modern FF1600 and Historic combined).
Competitors interested in racing at any Qld events should register with Tim Hamilton so they can be added to the Qld email list for event updates.

Round 1: March 28-29 at Morgan Park
Round 2: May 2-3 at Queensland Raceway
Round 3: June 6-7 at Morgan Park
NC*: July 18-19 at Lakeside Park
Round 4: August 8-9 at Queensland Raceway
Round 5: August 29-30 at Morgan Park
NC*: November 14-15 at Lakeside Park
*NC: Non-Championship event. Does not count for any pointscores. Entries to all rounds will be open to both modern and historic Kent-powered cars.
