Sandown FF1600 (Kent) only event - Expressions of interest wanted

Dear Formula Ford competitors, Due to the current restrictions in place in Victoria, the AMRS round scheduled at Sandown Raceway at the end of August has been postponed to the November 27-29 weekend. This change of date means that the event will clash with the annual Island Magic meeting held at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit (assuming both events are not postponed or cancelled due to the Covid-19 situation). After liaising with the AMRS organisers, we are working on entry numbers to potentially have Formula Ford cars present at both events. The proposal is to have an FF1600-only event at Sandown Raceway, mixing both Historic and Modern FF1600 cars racing in either historic or FF1600 configuration (both Yokohama and Avon tyres are accepted). On the other hand, we would also like to have a Formula Ford (Duratec) only race meeting at Phillip Island as part of the Island Magic event. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from our FF1600 and Historic Formula Ford competitors for the event to be held at Sandown Raceway on November 27-29.
